Playerbase?

Hello All!

It's been a VERY long fourth dimension since I played HotS but I'm looking for something new to play as gaming has get stale for me. How is the total playerbase these days? If I play and start trying to do a rank climb and such, will I be able to observe games easily and it be different people in the matches? I know people have said the playerbase was small or dwindling at times, and then just trying to get an idea of how it's looking right now

The playerbase? Not sure, blizzard doesn't release official numbers. My guess is HotS playerbase is almost ane/100 of the size of LoL, small in comparing but definitely big plenty to find games, accept a customs and have grassroots eSports.

At this point anybody who wanted to leave considering of the 2018 fiasco has already left, the game is probably growing, just slowly.

Don't think that the deviation is quite that big. If the the subreddit sizes are anything to go by then it's more like 20x.

Not as much every bit league obviously but a really decent amount, I get games in QP in like ten seconds and in ranked near two-3min. Sometimes longer if information technology'due south a weird time.

We don't take numbers simply queue times are fine, typically around ii minutes in ranked for me. They have been getting meliorate lately if annihilation.

The reason why no one play unranked is because anybody treat it as QM. They dont make good comps.

Unranked probably has the least players & information technology's likely for you lot to get matched with the same people every now & then. Queue times are generally fine if you're playing alone, but it tin can vary from a few seconds to 500s+ depending on what time of day it is. Being in a large political party tin can also increase the queue time quite a bit making something similar 500s quite normal in a 5stack.

SL can vary depending on your rank, only shouldn't exist more than than only a couple minutes unless you're in Masters/GM or in a party.
